The University of Wisconsin-Madison employs more than 1,700 teaching assistants across a wide variety of disciplines, and their contributions in the classroom, lab, studio, and field are essential to the University's educational mission. A number of awards recognize excellence on the part of UW-Madison TAs. Although the College of Letters and Science, with additional funding support from the Graduate School, administers the selection process, TAs in all schools and colleges are eligible. Please keep these campus-wide awards in mind as you review the performance of your TAs.

Nominations for campus-wide teaching assistant awards are due November 13, 2009.

Nominations for the L&S Teaching Fellows are due February 12, 2010.

Note: All nomination forms are PDF files, which can be read using Adobe Acrobat. A free version can be downloaded here: http://get.adobe.com/reader/.
