Advising Services in Letters & Science

The College of Letters & Science is committed to providing quality advising for all students.  Through collaborative relationships with academic advisors, students are provided the support and encouragement they need to develop the skills necessary in order to take responsibility for their own development and success.   Students will also find that L&S undergraduate academic advising services are committed to assisting students in making the transition to college, in having a rewarding college experience, and in planning for life after graduation.

As an undergraduate student within the College, information and resources are available to help students manage all aspects of their chosen program.

Students who have not yet declared a major are usually assigned an academic advisor in the L&S Academic and Career Advising Center or the Cross-College Advising Service.

Students who have declared a major are assigned an academic advisor in their academic department or program.
