NEW! 2nd Offering of the Promotions Brownbag!

Given the high demand and the requests to have another brown bag on this topic, the L&S Committee on Academic Staff Issues (CASI) is pleased to announce that we are able to sponsor a second brown bag on this topic.

The second Brown bag on Promotions and Base Adjustments for Academic Staff is scheduled for Tuesday, December 11, from 11:30 to 1:30 in 220 Ingraham.

This brown bag is also specifically for Academic Staff in Letters &
Science. Emuye Asfaw from Academic Personnel Office has graciously
accepted to do this presentation again for our group.

The room can only accommodate 40 people. As in the first one, the spots will fill up quickly. By providing this twice, we are able to
accommodate double the amount of people interested in the topic.

The November 13 Brownbag is Full.

Based on our survey results of 2005, we determined that there is a need for education regarding promotional procedures for academic staff. We partnered with the Office of Human Resources to present an opportunity for Academic Staff to learn about how they can insure their continued success within the College of Letters and Science.
