Professional Development Grant Program for Classified Staff

The College of Letters and Science has made available $5,000 per year to be used to support professional development opportunities for College classified staff. The program will be administered by the College of Letters and Science and the CSIC will accept applications for the competition and award the grants. An email will be sent to all classified staff by the College Human Resource Manager with details and application deadlines in late summer/early fall of each year.

Awards

  • Classified Staff Excellence Awards - Each year, the Dean of the College of Letters and Science offers five awards of $3000 each recognizing outstanding performance, service and/or contributions by L&S classified staff members. This year, these awards will be made in three categories. Based on proportionate number of employees in each grouping within the College, there will be three awards given to employees in the administrative support bargaining unit; one award given to employees in the blue collar or technical bargaining unit; and one award given to employees in the WPEC bargaining unit, engineering bargaining unit or non-represented staff.
