IV.17 DISABILITY ACCOMMODATION POLICY AND PROCEDURES It is the policy of the University of Wisconsin-Madison to provide reasonable accommodations for qualified disabled individuals who are employees or applicants for employment. (Accommodation for students is discussed in Chapter VI, "UW System Policy and Guidelines Applying to Nondiscrimination on the Basis of Disability".) The policy for Faculty Accommodation under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) adopted by the University Committee on November 6, 1995 is provided on-line (Faculty Document 1159a - 6 Nov 95).
