I.6 ACADEMIC ASSOCIATE DEANS' PROGRAM ASSIGNMENTS

Special responsibility for the departments and programs in their respective areas is assigned to the Associate Deans, who have the authority to make many resource and programmatic decisions within policy guidelines developed by the Dean's staff and the College Academic Planning Council. While Dean Sandefur is available to consult with chairs and directors about any matter, in most cases the initial point of contact will be the Associate Dean assigned to coordinate with the department, center or program.

A list of the departments, centers and interdisciplinary programs that fall under the auspices of the Academic Associate Deans can be found on the L&S Website, in the following locations:

The contact information for all L&S department and program chairs and administrators is also available in the Handbook, at http://www.ls.wisc.edu/handbook/ChapterOne/LSDeptContactInfo.pdf. (Any revisions should be sent to the L&S webmaster, webmaster@ls.wisc.edu.)
