VI.19 PATHWAYS TO EXCELLENCE STUDENT ACADEMIC SERVICES Pathways to Excellence is an academic support program for students of color in the College of Letters and Science. To enhance and promote the quality of undergraduate experiences, Pathways to Excellence provides structured activities, advising, academic and career workshops, and referrals to other support services and programs. PE students publish Chalkboard, a newsletter with feature stories and public announcements of particular importance to students of color. Students meet with L&S advisers to plan their academic careers and participate in workshops, panels, and campus-community events; preview academic majors; and participate in summer academic programs and research projects. For further information, contact Devon Wilson, Assistant Dean and Director of Pathways to Excellence Student Academic Services, 25 Ingraham Hall (reception area), 608/262-2583 or send an e-mail to pathways@wisc.edu.
