VI.22 CHICANO/A AND LATINO/A STUDENT ACADEMIC SERVICES (CLSAS) CLSAS encourages and assists Chicano/a and Latino/a students in their
academic, social, and personal growth. The campus-wide program maintains

services. Information about campus events and activities as well
as scholarships, grants, internships and employment opportunities are
shared with students. CLSAS also provides referrals to other campus services
and offices that assist students while attending UW-Madison. One of the
majors goals at CLSAS is to make the UW campus a comfortable environment
for students to pursue their respective goals. CLSAS also maintains
a close relationship and communication with the Chican@ and Latin@ Studies
Program in the College of Letters and Science, and can assist students
interested in Chican@ and Latin@ Studies classes and undergraduate certificate.
