VI.32 SCHOLARSHIPS

The College of Letters and Science awards scholarships to a highly selective group of new first-year students each year. Scholarships are available to Wisconsin residents and non-residents. The awards range from $500.00 - $8,000.00. Eligible high school seniors are sent announcements inviting them to apply between November through January and the recipients are announced in early April. Interested students can apply following the instructions on the following webpage: http://www.lssaa.wisc.edu/scholarships/application.php .

A limited number of scholarships are awarded to outstanding continuing students in Letters and Science each year to qualified juniors and seniors. These scholarships are worth $500 to $2000 each. Applications will be available at the site listed above in early October. The deadline for continuing student applications is in early November with recipients announced in January. Questions regarding scholarships can be forwarded to the Scholarships Coordinator at 262-2941.
