Gardens & Greenhouses Museums Observatories Performance & Performance Facilities
Letters and Science Departments teaching and research programs encompass resources and facilities that extend far beyond the classroom and, in some cases, beyond the campus. These resources are open to the public and have become important elements of UW-Madison's community outreach and K-12 enrichment programs.

The Botany Garden is home to plants such as the Eustoma grandiflorum,
or Prairie Gentian, a plant native to Colorodo and Nebraska to northern Mexico.
